Berserker Showcase

The final batch of models that I finished in 2016 were a mighty squad of beserkers for my legion of preference, the Iron Warriors. This also included an interpretation of Kharn the Betrayer himself. I built these before the heady days of the Traitors Hate book, so i was kind of lucky that at apush the 20 dudes can count as that Murderhorde formation or whatever it is called.
Anyway, here are a few picys...

#Squaduary 2017 - The Pledge

Hey hey. I decided ti get involved in this years #squaduary event. I kind of shadowed last years #dreadtocber and thought that I would make solid bash at this one. But what to do? I'm trying to build up enough Iron Warriors to form one of those warband detachments and I'm still missing a few things from there. So a squad of Iron Warrior Raptors it is then.

But anyway, here is a pile of raptor bits that have been recently removed from the sprue...

Iron Warrior Bikers

I took a bit of a break from painting to do some building. I decided that I needed to do something not related to Dark Angels with the DV box set. I simply have no interest with them. So I converted the ravenwing bikers into something more chaosy. That means spikes. Many spikes.

I got some bits for my birthday too so I should be well on the way for a black legion war band or something from the traitor legion book when that comes out.

I didn't really have a bold plan or anything in mind, I just sort of went for it. The sergeant guy with the robes was the trickiest part, but I've tried to disguise it a bit...

Obliterators

I bought a bunch of ogre kingdom stuff a while a back and decided to convert three of them into obliterators. My plan was to show a group of Iron Warriors who have fallen far from nobility into the thrall of daemonhood. 

Really happy with how this guy turned out. My plan worked!

Thought this guy was even better. The oversized giant head is full of rage...

Ultimately I was a bit disappointed with this guy. I think he needs some touch up work on the face but I kind of lost the will to properly finish him. So here he is...
